Excellent personalised service. Run by the owner’s family, the stay feels like being at home away from home. Somebody always available to meet your needs. Thistle Inn can be classed as a small boutique accommodation away from but accessible to the busy tourist areas. We really enjoyed staying here. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and everything you need is there. They had slippers & bathrobes, shower & swimming towels, a refrigerator and safe. You can rent a scooter if you like as well. It's only a 5 minute drive to the beach & the area is quiet. We will be back for sure. And a shout out to Frank, thank you for your help & hospitality.

Lovely well cared for hotel with amazing staff that were always there for your needs.Airport transportation is free and Frank the owner was there to greet you and help you feel very welcome.Restaurant food were delicious and delivered to your room as you wish.Mosquitoes were a plenty in the evening so bring insect repellent.Otherwise we enjoyed our stay comfortably.Highly recommend this to those who loves a quiet place…immaculately clean and spacious room!Will stay again when we visit Bohol!Many thanks to all the staff of Thistle Inn…

This hotel has more than everything you would wish to find in a hotel room. Comfy bed, balcony, safe, refrigerator, a good size tv, hair drier. There is absolutely nothing I can complain about. All staff very friendly and helpful. would wish to find in a hotel room.

Very relaxing stay.

The place is away from the hustle bustle, very quiet and serene, relaxing with well planned out lay out. Just make sure you have good Wifi connections since the airport in Panglao is spotty. Even after using a local phone, couldn't connect to the hotel. But once we got checked in, everthing went well. The owner was apologetic. The place is well maintained, clean ,spotless, good hot showers and AC. Service is prompt, mini restaurant food was good, you can eat at your patio or at the dining area. Pool was inviting. They will call you a " tuktuk" to get to Alona Beach ( 20 minutes away) about $8.50 round trip. They can arrange excursions for you too. Overall, we had a nice, relaxing stay at the Inn.

The property is first class and a great value. It is a bit away from Alona Beach and other resorts but it was fine as our tuk tuk driver was always just a call/text away. The pool was always refreshing, snacks and drinks were available in the rooms for a nominal fee, internet worked well except during a short brown out of course. There was a limited menu, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The outside bar was convenient too. It was honestly a quiet stay although it appeared there was little of no vacancies. It definitely was not a party spot while we were there which was fine since it gave us the opportunity to recharge at the end of the day. Staff was great and friendly also. Motorbikes were also available for daily rate of 400PHP. Would definitely stay again! BTW, call them when you land and they’ll send a car to pick you up at the airport

Nice room and pool except my 9 year old son ordered out of pool at 9am apparently for pool maintenance that didnt happen. Breakfast expensive. Miles from anywhere. One staff member very bossy and rude. Same staff insisted we pay for a 500ml water because an empty water bottle found in our room bin although we bought that bottle in La Familia restaurant in Panglao town where we had dinner.

Frank and Chai and their staff treated us very well. We appreciated the airport pick-up and drop-off, as well as arranging for a rental scooter and a tour if Bohol with Glen. It's a nice hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.

They could have a larger menu. But it's very new, and they provide a lot of the little things like shaving kits, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo, soap and slippers.

A great hotel excellent rooms and service. It’s 12 minutes drive from Alona beach so it’s recommended to rent a scooter from them. Fantastic hotel for the price you pay!
