"Nice clean updated home near Keaau (Hawaiian Paradise Park). Quiet neighborhood. Centrally located between Hilo and Volcano National Park made for a great place to explore the east side of the island. Hilo Farmers Market was worth checking out. Rainbow Falls was nearby as well. Volcano National Park was an awesome experience. Shopped at local grocery store and cooked on the grill on the back porch. "It was such a treat for our family of four to stay at this home. The house is absolutely lovely! Plenty of space for all of us, so many wonderful outdoor spaces to use. The view is stunning! We never got tired of it. Easy walk to a beach nearby, and the perfect hub for several day and half day trips. The owner is wonderful! So friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. We hope to be back soon!"

"Loved our stay at this lovely cottage set on 9 beautiful acres. It felt like we were actually guests of the original plantation house. Stayed for thirteen nights, and were joined by our daughter for five nights. Plenty of room for the three of us. Favorite times were morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the veranda. Easy drive to both Hilo and Volcano, and Foodland grocery is a mile away. Highly recommend."

"Our family of four (two adults, two boys, 5 & 8) stayed here for 3 nights to explore the east side of the Big Island. We loved it! If you are a nature lover, you should definitely stay here. Every night, we played cards in the screened in porch and listened to the music of the frogs, birds, and other critters (truly special - you need to experience it yourself!). "The house was just as inviting as the pictures, and the bed-swing was a dream! We loved just hanging out there and relaxing together. "The property was gorgeous and the house was beautiful and accommodating. The only issues we had were the TV's did not connect to the network properly to stream and the fire alarm went off mistakenly while we were napping. Apparently that is something that happens often as they have a stick available to turn them off and a note about it in the welcome book. "The property is well maintained, clean and as advertised. Note that the ice maker was nonfunctional and my text asking whether there might be ice trays we could use was answered informing me that I could buy ice in town. Uncertain whether every weekend is like this but the scene on the road out front was a bit much with locals racing by and burning rubber for much of the day. We were amazed to not see a single cop car go buy despite the scene."
