Reception staff were very helpful and polite. The staff in housekeeping did great job as did those working in dining areas. There is plenty to do in and around hotel. Great pool area, soft play, outdoors play park, gaming rooms, shops, restaurants as well which makes it a great place to take your children and have them occupied. Will be back again. Explorers Hotel is a great option for families with young kids, with plenty of activities to keep them entertained. However, the lack of air conditioning in the rooms was disappointing, and the swimming pool wasn’t as clean as we had hoped.

The property is nice. It’s perfect if you are planning to be at Disney the whole time. If not, it is about an hour to and from the city. You first have to take the shuttle to Disney and then switch to the train. My only complaints are that the AC/fan doesn’t work well. We got warm at night. And the pool has odd hours (11-1 and then 2-7) And no one is keeping an eye on the slide. My son went down and an adult came down too soon after, which resulted in him running into him. The staff is very friendly. There’s lots for the kids to enjoy.

As soon as we arrived, there was extra charges for checking in early (per hour), for towel hire, leaving luggage…. And for using the pool after check out… However, really useful and loads of facilities, kids never bored… ( games are all charged on top). Please note all FRENCH are very blunt!

Really good facility for kids but staff wasn’t friendly or helpful. Room is really dark & hot (during the summer as no ac) no water given in the room and no water/ice area . Arcades games are really expensive. Food was poor . If they had better staff , food and ac in the room I think it would have been a 5 star hotel .

I spoke to the manager on the phone before my stay. She was incredibly rude and I was dreading my stay. However when I came to the hotel the staff were lovely and accommodating. Everything went smoothly, the room was cleaner than expected

Hotel was convenient and rooms were spacious for Europe. Staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was plentiful and well stocked. There were a few issues. The elevators were out of order 1 day. And the TV never worked although we called twice. The lobby and public areas need a deep clean. Overall was a good value for the price with free shuttles to the park.

Hotel is ok. Room works for 5-6 with adults and kids. Bar and food facilities are poor. Hard to get a drink and it’s expensive. They closed the pool from 4.30-6 which is very annoying when you want a break from the parks. Busses work fine but can get packed which is also ok.
