Don't bother. There's no way to shower without flooding the room, the shower is too small to avoid it. There was also a strange piece of furniture in the room (a luggage stand perhaps) that blocks the door from opening entirely. I would rather have one usable shower per floor than unusable ensuites. There was a cup in the bathroom - but it was visibly dirty, and uncovered. The towels didn't look clean. The proprietor looked at my reservation and decided not to offer me breakfast. Based on what I saw (food prep on top of a washing machine...), I decided not to insist.

Hotel is in a great location and staff were very helpful. The room and bathroom/shower were extremely small (though this is typical in Europe). There was no elevator so hauling a large bag up a narrow spiral staircase isn't the easiest. No A/C. The surrounding area is very loud (people, cars, commotion) with a lot of construction when I visited. The property is old and in need of updating. All that being said, for the price, you are getting what you paid for to be so close to major sights in Paris compared to higher end hotels in similar locations.

Great hotel but it so needs a re-vamp.

A great hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is in a brilliant location but sadly the hotel does need a complete re-vamp. It is very outdated although the rooms were clean and the bedding and towels were spotless.

Room was very small which was expected. The shower leaked into the bedroom and the room had a smell. Desk attendants and service was excellent. Would recommend that they fix the shower situation as it made the whole bathroom and part of the bed area wet.
