“It’s hard to describe perfection but that’s how I feel about our stay at the Romantic Retreat! From the beginning Pete communicated well in advance of our stay and answered all questions quickly! Gave me exceptional recommendations on a tour guide, Chris from Paradise Photography to advising me on making dinner reservations and where the best restaurants were located! On arrival the place was immaculate and soft music was playing as we went up the stairs. On the bed was a sweet gift from Derilyn……

“Greatly enjoyed our time here during our visit to Yellowstone. Close proximity to most everything in Gardiner and a great view every morning. Property was tidy and clean when we arrived, and the kitchen and bathroom were nicely stocked. Owners were great and very helpful- since I was sleeping on the pullout during a stretch of cold nights I was a little worried about not having enough sheets, but they were quick to provide a more than adequate extra when I brought the matter up. Overall……

“Cozy cottage had a good heater, comfy bed, ceiling fan, and kitchen equipped for cooking. Scenic Location was good for us, between Livingston and Gardiner. 2 Thermal springs nearby to choose from. Rental small SUV had to go slow on gravel road adding a few minutes to travel time in & out. Only suggestion I have for owner is to have a 3-way bulb in the 3-way lamp for older readers like us!”

“Loved this little place which is situated between the main road and the Yellowstone River. You can walk right down to the river and watch the elk. Very clean and comfortable. It is a wonderful add to a Yellowstone experience. ”

“This was the entire 2nd floor of a 2-family house (nobody on the 1st floor). It was very quiet, with a separate back entrance through the large porch. Large driveway for easy parking. It was very spacious and clean. The bed in the master bedroom, and the bottom bunk bed were very comfortable and we slept great. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices and cooking equipment and coffee. The bathroom also had all the toiletries you could need, plus plenty of towels. The heat and the overhead……

“Pros:Feels clean, fresh and new.Great location – near Mammoth Springs park entrance.Easy access to town/restaurants/groceries.Great host communication and easy check-in/out.Cons:Sound insulation – we could hear the guests above us even though they weren’t noisy.”
