“We especially like the helpfulness and courtesy of the staff checking in.
The room was clean and comfortable. Probably being school holidays, it was quite noisy being near the pool area but the only complaint.”

“Unfortunately, our experience at the North Parkes Hotel was disappointing.
Before booking, we called the hotel directly and were quoted $150. We then found the room cheaper through Expedia. When we questioned the price difference, we were told that they were “not a charity”, which we found to be quite an unnecessary and dismissive response.
We booked specifically because we were travelling from Parkes through to Brisbane and expected to be able to have dinner at the hotel restaurant.……
