"Our stay at Live Oak Cottage was wonderful. The cottage had a delightful decor that was filled with comfort. We felt like it was our home. Barbara and Steve were also delightful, very communicative and available. They left no detail out from the very well stocked kitchen with every piece of equipment you would need as well as many spices. Beaufort and the surrounding area provides many beautiful parks and nature trails along with an adorable city offering an array of great restaurants and shopping, all very near by. We loved this cottage and the area. We plan to be back soon! "

"The room smelled like mildew. The toilet didn’t work. The person at the front desk was smoking like a chimney whenever I went in there. The surrounding neighborhood was pretty sketchy; a person was smoking weed just outside my room. After all this I did appreciate the 55” TV."

"House was amazing. Clean, new appliances and very welcoming. Barry with the rental company checked in to make sure we were good Location was awesome and the sunsets were out of this world and so relaxing.FYI: if you have a problem with stairs, just know all bedrooms are on the second and third floors. The dock was my favorite feature. "
