「First room smelled very musty with a sweet scent on top of it (I assume to mask the odor). Asked to switch rooms. The desk staff were very accommodating and the second room was fine. Furniture, carpet, etc. are in need of refurbishing and there are no amenities of the type that you expect from a Hilton hotel. 「Nice resort, staff was friendly. Room temp was set to 68, but I don’t think ever made it to that temp. Was a bit warm and there was a noise coming from the AC unit, which was slightly annoying. Rum runners food and service was fantastic. Once construction is done I think the view will be great along with access to the beach.
