"I am not sure there are any views that surpass High View - and all ours for a week! We loved the little town and the ability to “walk down the little path” to the town for dinner. The locals were so friendly - my husband talked to a neighbor every day on his walk. Then she knocked on our door with some dried figs from the tree we had been walking by.! Fantastic place to relax."

"Wonderful quiet location, 15 mins drive from Vela Luka. Nadija and Peter made us so welcome, thank you. The island is scenic and beautiful and Korcula town well worth a visit. Would thoroughly recommend but car hire fairly essential, but easy to arrange through agencies in Vela Luka. We hope to return!"

"My daughter and I enjoyed every minute of our stay in Zavalatica. The apartment itself is large and clean. It was a perfect walk to the village across the bay where there is a grocery and a charming family-run cafe with excellent service. I was hesitant at first because the location of the hotel is more towards the middle of the island, but I’m so glad we did this because it ended up being our favorite part of our two week trip to Croatia!
