Very Relaxing

We really loved our stay here. It is such a beautiful house and the property abounds with birds and wildlife. The property was as described. The appliances were very nice and everything worked perfectly. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The bed was very comfortable and we slept better than we do at home. The open floor plan made the house see even more spacious. Deer frequented the property as well as so many different birds. We drove to Blacksburg one day and enjoyed exploring that town. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is needing some downtime to just relax.

For those looking for a private, comfortable, beautiful, and peaceful retreat beside a mountain stream, this property deserves serious consideration. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. We particularly loved the covered back porch where we watched deer, a family of common merganser, occasional kingfisher, and bald eagle along Walker Creek. There is no cell phone reception, but the WiFi is strong. WiFi calling, including FaceTime, worked just fine. Plan to bring along all your consumables such as spices, condiments, foil, parchment, baggies, etc. We found a couple of issues on arrival, but the management was responsive and interested in our having an enjoyable experience. My wife and I have visited many different getaways places over the years, and this is one of our favorite spots. We will definitely consider returning for another visit.
