Pebbles Beach Hotels

"Love the location, the renovations that are being made are very nice. The pool area/coffee bar/restaurant areas are great. We enjoyed our food from both the restaurant and coffee bar. Our room was fine, but for the price thought it could be a bit more updated. It sort of had a musty smell. Overall, recommend and I’m sure the remaining renovations to the property are going to be fantastic. The view from the check in area is beautiful. "

"Location was fantastic! Room was dated so far back that the furniture looked like it had been left outside in the weather, Room had a very musty smell. There was an odor that was so bad on the 5th floor that smelled like a dead animal and when we brought this to the attention of management we were told that we are not sure what Expedia says but we are just a 3 Star Hotel and that sometimes animals get in the crawl spaces and die which could cause the odor come to find out that it was a room that had a severe roof leak that caused this odor. When we checked in with the front desk we were not welcomed to the hotel, instead we witnessed the Bell Hop Rocco completely disrespect a guest who asked for a cart to carry her luggage. If you could have witnessed what I observed with this idiot you would have been disgusted. I did recommend that Rocco should be fired for saying that the lady should get her own F’n luggage and that he hopes management writes him up again. By the way, when we checked out today Rocco was still employed. The ladies working the front desk were equally as rude and could care less about anyone checking in on April 9th. (Mandi and 1 other lady who worked early morning were great and very friendly). I am extremely angry that I paid for this dump of a hotel. Nice honeymoon for us…. NOT! "Decent place to stay, but hidden fees that are not advertised, like $25 for parking a car and a separate $25 "convenience fee" ... for coffee in the morning??"

"Breakfast was wonderful! Don’t be in a hurry! I was leary when I arrived in the dark…but fell in love with the place in the daylight! It was a great adventure! No glass windows…only screens. The frogs were loud…but slept so good! If you like noise machines, you will love it! The bedroom had a fan if needed. They had beach equipment to borrow if wanted. A wonderful snorkeling spot was next to the National Park…just a few miles from the Dragonfly Ranch. The ocean view was amazing! Barbara (and her staff) was a great hostess! "
