Considering the it's an inclusive resort, it would have been nice to taste the authentic Indonesian flavors instead of a bland taste that is catered toward most westerners. The communication were not great, for example ferry ticket discrepancy (it was quoted for 400K/RT/for 2 ppl but when we got to the ticket place it was for 1 person tix. After several confirmation prior to arrival at the place that it was 400K/RT/……

“We had a wonderful, wonderful stay at Suwehen Beach Cliff. The view was out of this world, the huts very clean and comfortable and the owner and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is very secluded, which we loved, and very much off the beaten track. Huge thanks to the wonderful driver and guide Yann, who was a great help and very good company when driving us around the island. We would definitely recommend this place. Only little tip would be for the owner to put up a little……

“We stayed at Vayam, Gili Asaham for 8 nights in mid-April 2026 in room N.1. It was our second stay on the island, and it was very pleasant and relaxed. The room was comfortable with air conditioning and a king-size bed. Everything worked properly. The à la carte breakfast was good; I especially remember the Nasi Goreng, the typical Indonesian yogurt and fruit bowls, the sourdough bread, and that delicious cappuccino every morning.
