Tucked away at the end of a quiet alley and accessed via an external flight of stone steps, this charming retreat offers a peaceful hideaway while still being directly opposite the bus station; making it easy to explore Cumbria and beyond.
Inside, The Loft is thoughtfully furnished to create a warm, homely atmosphere. A spacious entrance hall provides ample storage for walking boots, coats, or bikes, leading into a bright and comfortable open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining space. Sink into the comfy seating and enjoy your favourite shows on the Smart TV, or stream the latest Netflix release. The dining table is ideal for lingering over meals or planning the day's adventures with a morning coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and dishwasher; everything you need for a stress-free stay.
Upstairs, you'll find two inviting bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and the other with a single bed. The family bathroom features a shower over the bath, hand basin, and WC.
All electricity, bed linen, and towels are provided, with a cot and highchair available on request. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please note that access is via an external stone staircase, which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility, and there is no private parking. Penrith operates a disc parking scheme during the day, with a car park conveniently located opposite. Guests also share a courtyard with neighbouring Woodman's Cottage, complete with table and chairs for al fresco dining or relaxed afternoons in the fresh Cumbrian air.
