Condo was as described inside. it was a bit further from the beach than I expected and didn't have a beach view. The one thing i would say could use improvement is the mattress. It has a huge sag in the middle.

Beautiful condo

The pictures don't do this condo justice! The furniture was beautiful. Everything was cleaned to perfection! Well stocked with plenty of dinnerware, plates, glasses, and utensils. Plenty of pots, pans, tupperware, and pantry items. The decor was not overly beachy, just right. Curtains to block out early morning light if you are not an early riser. About a 5 minute walk to the pool and beach. The patio was decorated as nice as the inside, for relaxing. It was very quiet on this end of the beach. The recliners were nice to have, as my husband usually sleeps in one because of shoulder problems. You will not regret staying in this beautiful condo!

Gnat Infestation

We stayed in one of the units and were INUNDATED with gnats for the entire week! When we phoned the realty company to complain they said that gnats were very common place in Florida and even commented that they had them flying around in their office. We knew other families staying on the complex at El Matador that didn’t have this problem. They told us they could come in and fumigate but I wasn’t a fan of fumigating and then having to go back in. They continued to point the problem at us questioning whether or not we had bananas and insisting we must have left a door open. No to both! They brought us long yellow sticky traps to hang in an attempt to kill as many gnats as we could. However, the gnat infestation grew worse and were landing on our faces at night in our bedroom/living room as we were trying to sleep. I had to quit using their kitchen due to the amount of gnats...even flew out of the coffee maker when it was opened! So unappetizing to see the gnats stuck to the traps in the kitchen...hence the reason we were unable to use it. We ended up having to purchase Raid because there were so many gnats crawling everywhere; the kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom. Even in the shower!! I have video and pictures of the hundreds of gnats that we killed every night but management did not care. We are sure they will still not take accountability even after this is posted but we felt really bad for the people coming in after us. It was very stressful and unsettling. We called several times through the week and when we called the day we left to try to talk to them about the obvious problem they had in this condo there was little or no empathy on their part. We have vacationed in Florida so many times and have never had this issue. It’s a shame that we purchased a condo for a week and couldn’t even relax there. We would never recommend this company to bail a vacation for us and will not be back to this particular destination.

Disappointed

The condo was in sore need of some maintenance Keyless entry worn so anyone can see what the numbers are. That’s a security risk Door strike on front door frame Screws are stripped The screws back out and the door will not close or lock This is a security risk The hot water is scalding No thermostat on hot water heater to adjust This is a safety risk. Door on patio to heat pump is broke. Hangs open. Ceiling fan missing from patio Holes in master bedroom ceiling Closet doors broke in front bedroom Skillets need replaced Coffee maker does not work correctly And best of all a sprinkler right by the patio so everything you put out to dry is soaking went I feel like I stayed at a Cheap hotel In the future I’ll be more hesitant to rent at this establishment again
