This is the second time we have stayed in the Dory units. Both condos were clean, comfortable and well equipped. We love the the view of the beach and easy access to the beach.

Great place to stay, short walk to the beach and looked just as the pictures show. Great for a family. We loved our week there and just a short drive to everything you need. Quiet area out of the way from all the craziness. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I have stayed here a number of times with friends. But this year we brought the family. We have 3 grand daughters that love the beach. This property is ideal for the beachgoer. We enjoyed being all together. Thanks for having us.

This is a beautiful clean townhouse and well provided kitchen. The view from the property is beautiful and the beach was clean and not super busy and like the fact that it was a private beach for the townhouse. It is a perfect place to vacation with the kids. The only downside is we were short on some comforters but otherwise it was a great stay .

Overall a great place and location. The beach was not very crowded and we had plenty of space without having to fight for a spot close to the water. The place was clean when we arrived and everything was as described on the site. There were a number of beach items under the stairs for our use.

Beautiful place, very clean, amazing views from the balconies. Great place to visit my son and his friends while he is at the navy air base. Such a relaxing home with a well appointed kitchen so we could all enjoy a home cooked meal and watch some football.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Dory. Super clean, had everything we needed, and we loved being right on the beach. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the things you might need. That hasn’t been the case in other places we have stayed. I do wish there was a space for pantry type food but we made it work. We will be back for sure.

We loved the overall privacy compared to other areas. The townhouse was beautiful and was the perfect size for myself, husband and our 4 kids. We had everything we needed plus more. So accommodating to all our needs. We will definitely be staying at the Dory again! The location was also perfect and near some amazing places to eat and things to do as a family.

property turned out great. we have stayed at another property in Perdido Key the last several years. check in was smooth. and the best thing was offer to check in early on Saturday. that gave us the whole day Saturday to enjoy the beach. the unit also had chairs and umbrellas available on ground floor that we could use. was a real plus+ ! this unit conveniently located to access all of Perdido Key. We will likely book it again for next year. Highly recommend this place.

Loved the private beach, the beach chairs, and the location. Enjoyed the quietness of the beach and the location of local shops and even Walmart and Target. The pull out couches didn’t have any sheets available-that was an issue since we are a family of 10 and used all the couches. We were given 4 rolls of toilet paper for a stay of 6 days with 10 people. Overall we would stay again!

Overall stay was great! As far as bedroom layouts, storage capacity, the master was great, however the other two bedrooms lack in storage space for a weeks worth of luggage. Additional dressers would be really beneficial. :) But again, the overall stay was great!

This was our first time staying at The Dory in Perdido Key. It was everything described in the property details. Sometimes pictures don't match the descriptions however this one did the job. Great location, only downside was climbing over the dunes (I knew this would be an issue after reading other reviews...still knowing that I would definitely stay here again). The Dory was the perfect getaway that our family needed.

Unit was clean and exactly as represented. Surprisingly quiet - never heard any neighbors or highway traffic on the non beach side. Nice grocery and restaurants within a short drive. Had plenty of room and privacy for my husband and me and our two adult daughters. Since we were there over Memorial Day weekend, was surprised how uncrowded this beach part of the Pensacola area was. Perfect location! Very quiet area just a short drive from things to do. We really enjoyed the private beach. Home had everything needed for our stay, including beach chairs. Check in and check out instructions had me slightly confused, but maybe it’s just me. Instructions said to tell Alexa unit we were checking out but I didn’t see any Alexa. Also couldn’t figure out the fancy thermostat. Home was clean, well stocked with needed items, and felt safe. All the other units had a hose outside for rinsing off after the beach, but this one didn’t. That would be my only suggestion for improvement, a hose to rinse. This was a great family trip and many wonderful memories made and we thank you for hosting such a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our stay , the property is lovely! The kids were disappointed since there was no pool but that was my fault for not checking! I have two complaints about the property... one is the air conditioner is old and doesn't cool the home very well and two nights the air kept cutting off and we had to sleep in an 80 degree house! We called and two fans were brought over until a service call was made due to the holiday. The other was that the bed upstairs was broken and i kept leaning into the middle! Overall the home was clean and in a quiet area with great views!

The Dory was equipped with everything we needed for a week at the coast, and even with multiple adults, there was plenty of room for everyone relax. A short path led to the beach. Although it wasn’t crowded during our stay, it was nice to see that the area immediately behind the condo is marked off for her guests. Each unit is allowed only two parking spaces, which would likely be more than enough for most families. We had four vehicles to park, so we did have to utilize off-site parking (just a 5 minute drive down the road). The only truly negative issue we had was when my daughter stepped off the patio and onto a rusty nail (likely fallen from the overhead platform supporting the air conditioning unit). Since it punctured her heel she received a tetanus shot at a local urgent care, along with instructions to stay off the beach for the remainder of our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Dory, and would definitely consider returning should we ever be in the Pensacola area again.

Our family recently stayed at the Dory F for a week. The location was fantastic and just a short walk to the beach.The townhouse smelled and looked really clean. Some furniture could use some replacing such as the master bedroom couch and the deck furniture. My couch in the lower bedroom was very dirty. One of the deck chairs was completely broken and rusted down. We were unable to use this chair at all. The unit needs more deck chairs period. The kitchen items needs replacing! The skillets were in poor condition and a limited supply of silverware and four coffee cups in total. For a few thousand dollars the owner could fix this place up and it would be amazing. The location was superb , but the insides were lack luster. I get that it is a rental , but please think of those who rent and want what they pay for. We still had a great time regardless of the flaws.

There were two primary negatives with the property. 1) The dryer was not working. The management company admitted that a part was on order and a temporary repair had been executed prior to our arrival. The part was not due in until after our departure. It tioj two phone calls and going to the management office in person before they offered any solution to the issue, which was to let us use another property near by that was not rented, to wash our laundry (for a day). This is obviously less than optimal when the purpose of renting a beach house for a week is to enjoy the water. 2) We discovered mouse feces in the cushions of some of the living room furniture the afternoon before we departed and there was mold/mildew on the base boards in the upstairs bathroom. That being said, the location was really good, easy driving distance to the National Seashore and Orange Beach if you wanted more dining options. The beach was right out the back door and the view from both blaconies was great.
