We were given a different room to the one we booked. The room was smelling strongly of air freshener to cover the smell from the drains. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The evening meal was awful and took over 2hrs for 2 courses, the waitress ended up in tears after all the complaints.
The receptionist tried her best to sort things out but was fighting a loosing battle. All in all not a good stay, luckily we only stayed one night - never again!!!

Et fantastisk hyggeligt lille hotel, helt nede ved vandet. Personalet er konstant til stede, servicen er høj og man mangler intet.

Excellent in Every Way – Great Value for Money
This hotel is outstanding in all aspects. From the comfort of the rooms to the service and overall atmosphere, everything exceeded my expectations. What impressed me most is the cost-performance ratio – you really get a lot more than what you pay for. It’s rare to find such quality at this price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for both comfort and value.

The constant (i.e. all day and all night) tapping of the ropes on the flagpoles opposite the hotel kept me awake, as I am a light sleeper and we needed to keep the windows open to keep cool. Otherwise, we were very happy with the stay.

Budget friendly in Penzanze
There was a cold Breakfast buffet with many choices, plus a plentiful hot breakfast served as you like it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The budget room was clean (in a seperate building behind the main hotel) but tired. A bit disorganized but then its probably hard to get staff at times.
