「Everything is perfect. The location, the staff, the food, and the house itself. Definitely will stay there again if we go to New Bern again.」

「This property was a delightful place to stay. I have rated as 5-star across the board. The only detraction was that the majority of the house is on a single thermostat, thus you cannot control the temperature in your room and our room was cooler than we would have preferred. We were told that if we were to stay here again, ask about the one or two rooms that DO have a separate thermostat.」

Booked this hotel during my mother's funeral and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. 3 days straight our flights back to Rhode Island was canceled due to lack of an itinerary and all 3 times they accommodated our stay on a moments notice. Not only did we have to rebook the room, we had to rebook our rental as well. We became so well known to staff that it felt as though we knew them...

「Everything was great with two exceptions ice machines should be on every floor, my wife had her shoulder replaced and getting ice on the first floor from the fifth floor was a chore. 「Room wasn’t that clean. Furniture old, bathroom ok not great and was very small. Dirty carpet. Didn’t realize it had carpet when booked. Also room and building smelled like cigarette smoke even when it was a non smoking property. Breakfast was terrible. Appliances were old and needed to be replaced. Food was not good and customer service person couldn’t keep up with refills on breakfast bar. Couldn’t eat the food offered.」

「Not a great experience- we will not return. Location of property not where we expected- would select a room located in town with walking distance to shops and sites next time. Access to property difficult. Climate control of overall property hallways and room had a damp feel in the air. King bed was lumpy. Toilet ran extremely slowly after a flush and was basically non-functioning - ick. Use of first floor public restroom as a back up was equally disappointing as that area was filthy - no one...
