Lovely stay, comfy beds, very clean room. Only thing I wish i would have known is breakfast start time when booking, too late for me so wasted my money on it, but the breakfast options seem fantastic.

Sunbank House Hotel, Perth – A Peaceful Stay Near Branklyn Gardens Sunbank House Hotel offers a quiet and comfortable base just a short walk from the beautiful NTS Branklyn Gardens, well worth a visit for any nature enthusiast. The hotel itself is small but well-kept, with clean rooms and a compact ensuite that meets practical needs without fuss. While evening meals aren’t provided, the breakfast more than makes up for it, generous portions, good variety, and plenty of fresh coffee to start the day right. Service throughout our stay was consistently warm and attentive, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for couples or solo travellers looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to Perth’s natural charm.

Fantastic Breakfast

Great location for a stay in Perth; only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Our room was very clean and had everything you could need for a stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Best of all was the fantastic breakfast, the best quality produce cooked to perfection. We will definitely return to the Sunbank House Hotel whenever we are in Perth.

Lovely old clean well maintained house set in a gorgeous garden. Run by nice people who served me a really nice cooked breakfast. Only downside was the shared bathroom although it was clean, well kept and not too busy.

We had a lovely 2 night stay and were able to leave the car at the property as it’s within walking distance of city centre for shopping and dining. It’s 2 min walk up the hill to Branklyn Gardens and tea room. The property is also near to Kinoull Hill and other walks. We found our room to be quiet, very comfortable and had an excellent pre ordered breakfast each morning.

This is a lovely and comfortable home within walking distance of Perth. There’s a comfortable sitting room a large dining room for morning breakfast and the rooms were clean and quiet. Graham was the young man managing the property while I was staying and he was wonderful to talk to and most helpful with anything I needed. The breakfasts were delicious and had a huge array of options. I highly recommend it.

Excellent breakfast - many options available to pick. Very friendly and helpful staff. Refreshingly quiet when compared to hotels positioned within the centre of Perth. The bed was super comfortable and over-provisioned with pillows! Recommended if you're looking to explore (on foot) Kinnoull Hill and Deuchny Woodland Park.

Beautiful property off the highway with convenient parking. Lovely garden. Quiet and clean. Pleasant lounge with bar service in the evening. Easy walk to downtown Perth. Very good breakfast cooked to order. Our host was helpful and welcoming, and went out of his way to research an issue for us. We'd love to stay there again.

A little Gem

Absolutely loved it. Shame it was only an overnight stay. Room spacious and clean. Old victorian style home with a modern twist. Lovely decor, even asked where they'd got the wallpaper from as its exactly the style we're looking for. Trendy retro lighting in our room. Modern bathroom, and warm. Comfy beds. Breakfast was lovely, put in your request the night before. I had salmon and scrambled eggs, which was plentiful, and extra toast. All this and only a 5-10 min walk into the town. Receptionist very friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay in a beautiful city.

Spectacular place to stay. We stayed in 6 different hotels/B&Bs during this 10 day trip all around Scotland. By far the nicest out of all of them. Gorgeous room, excellent view. Very helpful/friendly manager who even made us a breakfast ahead of time since we were leaving so early. Perth wasn’t on our list of “must see” areas - we simply chose it for the convenience of driving to the airport in the morning. Wish we knew more ahead of time!!! We fortunately got to spend a good amount of time at the Scone Palace. Wow - our favorite out of all we saw. Only got an hour or so walk though the city and gardens after most places closed up. Wish we booked 2 nights!
