“This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Oberammergau. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast excellent and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed here in 2023 and again this past July in 2025. The hotel is conveniently located in Oberammergau and is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. If we ever return to Oberammergau we would definitely stay here again. ”

“The hotel was not bad but the female owner was not friendly to the family with a child. We were shocked when we checked out and the bill has been added an extra charge for our small kid though we didn't have the extra bed,and they didn't tell us in advance when we checked in . She even didn't explain anything until we found the price was not correct and she said everyhotel was different...though we never been treated like this time...And the quilt had a bad smell since wasnot washed for a long……

“Das Zimmer war zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber mit einwandfreiem Bad, sehr sauber und sehr ruhig. Das Personal im Hotel war ausnahmslos freundlich. Das Frühstück war für diesen Preis absolut in Ordnung.”

“Ein fantastisches Hotel mit herausragender Architektur und tollem Kunstangebot. Die Werke im Hotel und das angeschlossene Museum bieten eine tolle Gelegenheit, Kunst unmittelbar zu erfahren. Es ist außergewöhnlich und großartig, dass der Hotelbetreiber die Gäste an seiner Kunst in dieser Weise teilhaben lässt.
