VERY disappointing experience
If you are looking for good sleep, nice furnishings, and overall comfort, this is NOT the unit for you.Our visit to Philly will always be marred by this terrible VRBO rental.We told ourselves that we could do anything for 6 days since we had no option but to stay there (we did look for alternatives).HOST INFO:-Switched units on us days before the trip WITHOUT any notice; did NOT offer any compensation or reduction in cost for the change in quality and location.-We were told there was an "incident" at the unit we originally booked, but this felt more like a bait and switch situation.-Responsive via VRBO but we did not trust her word after the situation she put us in.-Unit is NOT hosted by Robert.The only contact we had was with Noemi Coffigny.We never heard from Robert and emails came from "Work in Paradise LLC".-Unit is NOT 800 square feet.-Reserved the grad hospital neighborhood to be walking distance to our daughter.Got Bella Vista (unit is at S.7th & Christian; a nice neighborhood) but required a ride share or taxi to daughter's (an added expense).-Reserved a QUEEN bed. Got an incredibly uncomfortable DOUBLE bed.-Reserved unit with nice and modern furnishings.Got a unit with old, worn, and extremely uncomfortable furniture.Nothing was comfortable.-Unit and hallway had a really unpleasant odor.-2 bathtowels and 4 washclothes for 2 adults for 6 days!Positives:-The unit was clean.The shower was fine.The wifi worked.The a/c worked in the l/r, not great in b/r.
