Super cute super chic, centrally located apartment. Located in the heart of University City. Neighboring but not limited to the prestigious University of Penn Campus. Walking distance to Chop, University of Penn, VA , Presbyterian and Pennsylvania hospital and all major transit systems. Filled with all things that can be traveled to on foot, Nightlife, restaurants, etc.
The space
We welcome everyone from all walks of life to come enjoy our humble abode. You'll find that our place is quiet, centrally located, family and fun friendly. PLEASE NOTE: ALL PAYMENTS MUST GO THROUGH VRBO. PRIVATE PAYMENTS, PERSONAL CHECKS OR BUSINESS CHECKS AREN’T ACCEPTED. My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Meh
With a late check-in and early checkout, we weren't totally pleased with this property. The rooms were freezing cold and the split units didn't seem to be working. Other than that, the place was pretty clean and the host was very communicative and allowed us to check in sooner than the 5:00 check-in.

Stressful and disappointing
I booked this place unaware it was a basement apt. for 8 weeks to be close to medical facility for life saving medical treatments. I had to constantly deal with noise at all hours from the apt above me but that was doable. I had to deal with the house next door being a party house for college students having parties from the afternoon until after midnight. The music and screaming was so loud the walls vibrated. Upon contacting the Host she suggested I use ear plugs and that was all the help she could give. I had to constantly call the police to deal with this as I needed to be able to sleep and recover from treatments. A few weeks into the stay there was no running water for 2 days which meant no showering, washing, flushing of the toilet, washing dishes , laundry etc. The Host did not offer to put us in a hotel until rectified but sent cases of water we had to use to bathe ourselves. No compensation was offered at all. I did contact VRBO about this and they did nothing as well except to send me an email a week later knowing I was receiving medical treatments and I needed running water. I had to double up on treatments to leave property before my booking was complete due to the stress and inability to get proper sleep. I asked for a refund and was told there is a strict no refund policy.If you are booking for long term medical treatments I strongly suggest you book elsewhere. This was beyond stressful for someone in ill health.It takes a day or more to get response from Host

Terrible place, terrible host. This is hole in a basement that was smelly and damp. You have to walk through an alley to the back of the property to enter the basement. During the first night of my stay at 10 pm someone tried to enter the property claiming they had no record of the booking. Whoever was at the door was rude and never came back to notify that they were wrong. I did not feel safe staying there and left right away. Would not recommend and this listing should be removed as this place is absolutely worst. I filed a formal complaint with Vrbo.

Near Penn Museum
Wonderful location; stores, restaurants, bus stop, attractions all within an easy waking distance. Property was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Although, it would have been nice to know ahead of time that so many steps were involved to access the entry.
