My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Timber Inn! It is clear that the new owners are putting a lot of time and care into the space. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the amenities were thoughtful, and the staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again when we're in the area!

We stayed in a newly updated room. It was great, the best bed we’ve ever had on our travels. It was a relief because when we walked to the entry door to the room, it wasn’t framed out like it wasn’t finished. And the patio was still being worked on. The only thing we did not like was the open concept bathroom. The shower is floor level, so after you shower, the entire bathroom is soaking wet. They need to come up with some sort of system to contain the water when you shower. But other than that, we did enjoy our stay very much.

This must be new owners who are reinvesting in the property. We stayed in a newly renovated room, new bathroom with walk-in shower (vs. old tubshower). New flooring, walls and furniture also. We stayed 2 nights but there was no service after 1st night, surprising but not a big deal. They are renovating the exterior also. I’ve stayed here occasionally in the past 10+ years and this is a step up and worth the rates they’re charging now.

My husband and I were visiting the Wisconsin Concrete Museum just down the road for his 67 birthday. We had checked in early and the room was a welcome surprise. Very clean and no fake smells, fridge and microwave, beautiful view of the water. Although we didn't stay as long as originally planned, we have already recommended it to others. Kuddos to the front desk worker. He told us he really liked his job, and it showed. and you know how fussy us seniors can be. hahahah
