Lovely lodge with a great view over the large pond.

Lovely lodge with a great view over the large pond. Very quiet too. Lack of a microwave and dishwasher might be an issue for some people, also a bit odd having both electric and gas hobs, although we couldn’t use the electric hobs as pans weren’t compatible with it and they wouldn’t stay on.

We have booked again to go to the same lodge as it was lovely, just a bit of constructive criticism, little tired in bathroom, shower head doesn’t stay in position and slips down and a few broken items such as one sink plug missing and door lock, couple of tiles lifting. Would recommend having a couple of plastic glasses already in lodge to have around hot tub area rather than having to go up to Spencer to get them, also hooks on the outside of lodge near hot tub to hang towels.
