Treetop Modern Cabin with Hot Tub, Creek View

Situated high in the hardwood treetops just outside the entrance to the Red River Gorge, this cabin has everything you need for a great getaway. Enjoy your morning coffee from the hot tub overlooking Mill Creek or enjoy watching for wildlife in the canopy of the trees.

The cabin is in one of the best locations in the RRG and is just minutes away from all the attractions including Skybridge Station, Slade, Gorge Underground, Hollerwood Park and everything else the Gorge offers.
Situated right next to Mill Creek, this cabin is the perfect peaceful getaway. Enjoy your morning coffee as you watch the birds in trees or have a soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. We have a firepit area next to the house for your use as well as a charcoal grill.

Inside the cabin, there is a full kitchen and lofted sleeping area with a king bed. There are plenty of large windows and skylights above for letting in the beautiful views and lots of natural light. There is also a folding queen sized memory foam mattress for your use as well.

We have a washing machine and dryer for your use upstairs if needed.

Four Wheel Drive is REQUIRED!

We stayed at the modern treehouse for a week and loved it! Our host Sam was fabulous and was very responsive to any questions we had and also provided great suggestions for area dining options (we are big believers in supporting local economy). The listing was exactly as pictured, very clean and had everything we needed. You will need 4WD or AWD to access the property, which is wonderful. Things we did and loved in the area: Out the Top UTV (awesome and worth every penny), zip lining, Gorge Underground boat tour (must book early as they are booked months in advance) and lots of hiking, swam under the waterfall at Flat Lick Falls (a must on a hot day). Places to eat: RedPoint BBQ (a must), Miqeul’s pizza (delish) and La Cabana Mexican. Would highly recommend this little slice of heaven off the beaten track. The local were lovely and were happy to share their recommendations for places to go as well. Take a chance and have some fun! We sure did!

Unbelievably rude host

We had issues with the host hanging up on us when we asked for a refund because we could not reach the cabin with our vehicle. The host then ghosted us when we needed the pin to get into the cabin as the internet reception was poor and I couldn't open the app to get the pin. Fortunately, some kind-hearted neighbors let us connect to their internet to get the pin--otherwise we would have been locked out there in the dark. Also, twice some kindly neighbors saw that we were walking over a mile in the 90+ degree heat up and down these incredibly steep hills and decided to give us a ride. Lastly, when I informed the host via the online platform that we were checking out and that his neighbors had helped us, he had the audacity to tell me that he thought I only got help from the neighbors to make him look bad and then told me to be a better person.

Amazing Cabin!!!

This place looked exactly like the photos. So quaint and cozy. Perfect size for a couple or even 2 adults and 2 kids. The owner was so quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!
