“My wife and I travel a lot and this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. So bad that we checked in, dropped our bags and started looking for a different hotel. Musty smell, air conditioner was kicking out foul air. No tv…..in fact at the front desk was a hand written sign that read “we apology no tv”. Desk attendant struggled with English. We checked into another hotel within the hour and the desk attendant there told us that the Pipestone Inn had been shut down by the local health……

Bed was comfy. Kitchen could have been stocked better, particularly with water glasses. Limited towels, only 2 bath towels for a 3 night stay for 2 of us, one kitchen hand towel, one dish cloth and no towel to dry dishes, the dishwasher was out of order. “This property was immaculately clean and of good value. I tried another VRBO in this town two years ago without as much luck. It's a great value in relation to furnishings for cost. The property is located one-half block from the town's grocery store which made it convenient for ice and snacks. Kitchen furnishings were adequate as most folks visiting probably don't prepare meals. I also liked the location of other apartments in the immediate building so I could share social time with friends……
