Great hotel. Centrally located. Excellent breakfast and coffee. Felt like we were staying in a museum. Beautiful rooms and all side rooms we visited while pottering around. Adorable rooftop terrace. You have to appreciate history, old world charm and the beauty of staying in an historic hotel that is beautifully preserved.

Amazing historic property on the bank of the Arno, 10 minutes walk from the tower. The building and the decor is fantastic if you like history and original features. We've had frescos on the ceiling and fascinating details everywhere you look. We've stayed with 2 children in 2 adjoining rooms which was perfect. One of the rooms had AC and a river view but very low water pressure. The other one had great shower but the AC didn't really work, however the staff promptly supplied us with a fan. Have to mention the customer service was amazing before our stay. I accidentally booked the wrong date for our stay and Annalisa was very helpful finding me alternative rooms. The breakfast was continental with lovely pastries which was a hit with the kids.
