Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
We stayed here recently with our 10 month old baby. I booked it online prior to attending the hotel and it had said that cots were available on request so when we arrived to check in i told the receptionist we would require one. There must have been a break down in communications as we went for a walk and an hour and half later when we returned there was no cot in our room. I went back to the receptionist to ask where the cot was only to be told i had not requested it and she argued with me for a full minute in front of other customers in the reception area. Then she said they could provide me a cot but no mattress for it due to hygiene reasons. I was rather shocked at this as any other hotel we had stayed in on our trip had no problem providing a mattress with the cot. I asked her what she expected my baby to sleep on and i was met with a shrug of the shoulders....i said it was like providing a bed to an adult minus the mattress. She then said well most people who request a mattress do so at booking so i said ok if i had would i have got a mattress and she said no so her argument was completely irrelevant and quite frankly very unprofessional. The receptionist the following day was very pleasant and apologetic and knew how to speak to customers without being rude. However the overall decor of the hotel was very rundown and dated and our room was very cold. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Could do with better parking more disabled spaces.
Stayed here twice now and to be honest wouldn’t stay again. The window in our room right next to the bed wouldn’t close so it was very draughty and some noise through the night. We could see it had been attempted to be fixed on numerous occasions but still wasn’t fixed. Unfortunately we came back to our room late at night so didn’t want to call reception and be moved so had to put towels in the gap. The breakfast was for me a coeliac/ vegetarian pretty poor.

Hotel dated requires modernisation not what was pictured. Spa area looked lovely staff very pleasant, very expensive for food and drink to eat in we choose to eat out cheaper. Room really dated double bed very small for a 6ft 2 adult and not a lot of space to move around.
Very central for walks etc and free parking was a bonus
