Lovely lodge for a couple of nights

Great place to explore the nearby areas (Pitlochry, Dunkeld). We needed a space for 4 and a Bernese Mountain dog and it was a good size. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Once we figured out the heating system, it was all good. Would happily come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the BBQ.

Excellent Accommodation in Tranquil Surroundings

The lodge was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Lovely views and more than ample space around each lodge so that the barbeques provided can be used safe in the knowledge they will not impact on the comfort of nearest neighbours. Obviously no shops in the immediate vicinity but Pitlochry, Dunkeld and Aberfeldy are all within a short driving distance affording ample shopping opportunities. A pack is provided to meet immediate needs, milk, tea, coffee etc. As with most of the Highlands there are endless walking opportunities.

Having read excellent reviews of Tayview Lodges, my wife and I arrived with great expectation and we were most certainly not disappointed. Our lodge, Little Lodge 2, was immaculate and in pristine condition. The spotlessly clean windows afforded uninterrupted views of the serene surroundings, the lodges being extremely well spaced out. The owners, Ross and Georgina were away for the duration of our stay but we were warmly welcomed by Georgina’s father, Duncan. The nearby towns of Pitlochry and Dunkeld are delightful and, of course, lovely walks abound.

The lodge I was in (little lodge 2) was immaculate. It was so clean, it looked brand new inside and out. Kitchen had everything you could need. Shower room was high spec for a small lodge. Comfortable bed and lodge was lovely and warm, even in middle of winter. Nice view and lovely to wake up to the hens outside. Once the doors and windows were closed there was silence, great way to get away from everything.
