「We are returning guests. Maison Mignardise is a rare gem, that we can recommend to anyone. The property itself is beautiful and clean, and well located just a few minutes' walk from the medieval city, where there are many good restaurants. In the common areas, there is a living room with balcony, with a view of the medieval city. Complimentary coffee and tea is provided (or one can purchase wine and local beer). The beds are very comfortable, the rooms seem recently renovated, the water pressure...

「Great welcome from Sandra and Fred who gave us access to property 2.5 hours before check in time. They were friendly , helpful and generous throughout our stay. (Do try The food especially Fred’s signature apple cake.) Apartment comfortable and great for a few days rest half way through out our around France. The 48 steps to the flat plus 18 to the bedrooms will keep you fit! Enjoyed Carcassone and La Cite. A great stay!」

「Very good location, all staff are helpful and friendly. Room is clean and nice . I left a handbag on the chair in the bar, they help me to keep the bag and try to return to me. Th e car park is not in the hotel , you have to park the car in their parking lot, and call them come to take yr luggage and you walk 2 mins to the hotel.」

「What an unexpected surprise. The hotel was at the foot of the old castle and also had spa services at a very reasonable price which we took advantage of. We arrived early and the grounds were a lovely place to grab a drink and a nibble to wait for our room. This was an unexpected gem.」

「I liked: The location, just before the bridge to the Forteresse, and with a nice overall view of the Forteresse from my balcony. A large very nice room. The balcony with nice vegetation. A really full buffet breakfast (North American style but with great croissants, etc) Staff that were nice and helpfull. I walked everywhere, from and to train station, to restaurants, to the Forteresse.」

「Gréât staff at the hotel. Special thanks to Brice. Wonderful view from room overlooking the chateau of Carcassonne. Location is good, can walk to the Chateau in 5 to 10 minutes. Short walk of 5 minutes to Place Carnot for restaurants. 」

「Location for the medieval cité is excellent (about a 7-10 mins walk). Communication from the apartment management was also excellent which meant our checking in and out was easy. The apartment is a bit tired, however the kitchen and bathroom were both clean. Other surfaces and inside the drawers in ours were dirty but we'd taken some cleaning products with us so it wasn't a big deal. Overall would still recommend and would stay here again.」

「Such an excellent location, right under the medieval cité but away from the business. There are plenty of lovely places to have dinner a short walk away, and it is also a very short walk over the bridge and into La Bastide for cafes and shops around Place Carnot. The swimming pool is quiet and was very welcome in such hot weather! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.」
