「Very clean and great location! We had a wonderful stay. The only downside is that while the kitchen has the basics (pots, pans, plates, utensils), it isn’t stocked with any cooking essentials like oil, spices, cooking spray, aluminum foil, ziplock bags, etc. If you plan to cook, you’ll need to bring those items with you. 」

「When we arrived, the Battery to front door lock was dead. We had to hones contact property manager. Thankfully she answered quickly and wasn’t far away. With large cleaning fee, we felt asking us to do dishes, empty trash, collect all towels and put in washer should’ve been included in the fee. Also, only providing minimum amount of paper towels and toilet paper was a little ‘surprising’. Overall, it was a nice place and beautiful view and surroundings. Plenty of space and comfortable rooms. 」

「Yes. The hosts weee very accommodating and even delivered Mexican sweet bread to us on bristles morning.Only issue was that the kitchen was sparsely stocked. No cling wrap. Zip locks, foil etc for storing food. Only 3 wine glasses for 6 people, no wash cloths in bathrooms. 」

「Werecently stayed at the Northstar Luxury 2 BR House and found it had both excellent aspects and some challenges. The property is in a quiet, end-unit location, just 10 minutes from Truckee and 15 minutes from the lakeside. It’s perfect for summer biking, hiking, restaurants, and events.
