Since Apple Hill opened that weekend, it was the only motel with vacancy when booked it 6 days prior to reservation. It was my wife’s first stay in a 1 star motel. It was clean, comfortable enough, convenient, and as a plus, they had availability when others had none. It is just an older motel with some wear.

Good amount of shops nearby and very convenient for travelling between Tahoe and Sacramento. Very easy parking and very kind and helpful staff at the window. The room was a little worse for wear with every tile in the bathroom being loose and seeing a thick grey carpet of dust on the upper half of the curtains.

Staff was great! Very nice and helpful! Room was clean, bed very comfortable, quiet. The town was a surprise. Great choices of places to eat and drink. Shopping included several quaint stores. We only stayed one night passing through but we could see ourselves spending several nights here and exploring the area.

We got a room right next to the laundry and the Ice-making machine. Noisy area. The entrance to the room was in a dark corner. The furniture and decorations in the room got stuck in the 1990's or even 1980's. Very outdated. The carpet was old and dirty and ripped in one spot. Bedding looked clean. Thank goodness, we stayed only for one day. Never again will I stay in this motel.

This motel is ok for what it is, but doesn't warrant a 4 star rating. It is old and everything needs to be updated inside and out. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the linens were snow-white clean, and as far as I could see the room was decently clean. There are homeless passing through, but nothing crazy. Quiet overall. Window AC kept room cool. crazy, and it was rather quiet. The window AC kept the room cool.

Air conditioner worked great but front fan for air direction was busted . Bathroom had dirt on floor edges, Just old and dumpy. That was reason it was only 120$ in California on a prime tourist route to Tahoe. They should have some pride and at least clean before they charge guests. Other than that, great location and got a decent night sleep. It was quiet
