“We stayed 2 nights at the end of August. We had a beautiful and comfortable room at one of the gatehouses. The bed was comfy, there were several English tv channels including BBC1 and 2, ITV and channel 4. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and well planned. The breakfast was all self service. “I thought the staff was super accomodating and my room was great. I would have liked to have had a bathtub but those seem increasingly rare these days. I tried to have dinner out for my last evening and the front desk staff said they would make a reservation. The resturant was full (it was just for one person) and rather than help me or suggest other alternatives the staff simply said, "Sorry, it is not possible." So I ordered room service. :( In hindsight, he should have, could have done more……

“Such a lovely welcome - they couldn’t have been more helpful. Hotel was perfectly placed, central for restaurants yet tucked away in the corner of intramuros. 30 second walk to the beach which was very welcome as it was really hot. “The staff was helpful in solving the issue while the event in the old city forbids any taxi coming in to pick us up. She was resourceful in getting an electric bike and get our luggage and then ourselves to the train station.”

“The bedroom was comfortable, the bed faced the french windows which opened up to a view of the ramparts and the sea. The bed was very comfortable and there was an ensuite. Hotel located centrally in the heart of one of the main squares, convient for shops, accessing the ranparts and the port. It has a wonderful restaurant attached.”
