"The property was so unique and charming! The room was spacious and decorated impressively. There were no issues with checking in or out of the room. I felt safe with the codes on both doors to the residence and room. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked very well. I didn’t use the kitchen area, but for a longer stay, I would definitely feel comfortable cooking! It was quiet the entire stay, and it is located in a decent area that I felt safe walking to and from. I am overall very impressed...

"Our room was very clean and ready for our arrival. We received our bottle of wine for being VIP with hotels.com. The bar staff downstairs as well as upstairs at La Perla were so welcoming and friendly. The location is just perfect for walking around anywhere downtown. The plaza across the street is always bustling with families and people enjoying the shade. The valet service is perfect, prompt and efficient, especially the valets, James and Alan. They not only loaded our car as we were leaving, but gave us better directions to get to the scenic drive than our GPS!!! Love this hotel because of service like this."

"The concierge was not at all helpful. Called aheadand asked that he book a reservation, when we arrived, it had not been done and the current concierge told us to drive to the restaurant in person and ask for reservations! Y receipt was not emailed to me, I should have asked for. Printed copy. I’ve been on hold now for 20. Invites waiting to speak with someone to get my receipt. The bar tenders at both the rooftop and Dome bar acted indifferent. The rooftop bartender left the bar and I walked up, returning with some supplies. He didn’t say, I’ll be right back or anything. He just left and there was no one there!"

"An excellent place. Even though I lived here in El Paso years ago and have traveled all over the United States, I never realized this place existed—it’s quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Above all, the staff is attentive and the atmosphere is cheerful; it feels like a trip back in time. I recommend it 100%."
