"What a gem tucked off the road on this stretch of the Makarska Riviera. We are so glad we found this place. After traveling for a month a spa massage is exactly what we needed. The day was nice enough to sit by the pool and soak up some Indian summer sun. The food was delicious with a higher selection of entrees and desserts as well as wine and cocktails. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room was perfect. And the people were friendly, helpful and nice. Best stay of our trip. Will be back. "

"Beautiful villa and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Totally private and very peaceful. There are no amenities such as shops in walking distance. We were contacted via WhatsApp and greeted on arrival by Zivka who welcomed us warmly and left a stunning selection of fresh vegetables and fruit from her garden, wine, beer, local brandy and bread. So very generous. There is a fantastic local restaurant called Argentina which we wholeheartedly recommend. It is a fair distance to walk or a 5min drive. Or you could use the handy bikes provided. Makarska is a 30min drive away and stunning but there are lots of lovely villages nearby. Dubrovnik is just over 2 hours away in the car. Can't fault our holiday and would definitely recommend. "

"Incredible villa, the best we've ever stayed in. We were 2 families of 4 and had a fantastic time at Villa Iva. The multi-level design is hugely impressive (with the finish being to the very highest standard), perfect for sunbathing by the pool, family meals on the terrace and all round relaxation - the whole area is very peaceful. Our host, Iva, was also excellent - very responsive and helpful, great communication. Excellent location too with Podgora just a short drive away for restaurants and beach, and Makarska for the supermarket and further amenities. Highly recommended and we would definitely visit again - 5 stars all round."

"What an incredible place to stay!We met the host, Manuela, at her nearby home who led us by car to the villa. She gave us a lovely tour of the house and she was incredibly welcoming and friendly, including leaving us various welcome gifts of delicious locally sourced (and family-made!) food and drinks. The villa was beautiful, exceeding all expectations and equipped with everything we needed, including towels for both bathroom and pool, and a very helpful folder of tips for shopping and trips in the local area. Manuela gave us lots of information too, and was happy to message us during our stay with queries we had- so helpful.The kitchen was well appointed and we also cooked on the barbeque outside a few times.The pool was a lovely size and well maintained. There were several very comfortable seating areas inside and out (including a very popular hammock!) as well as lovely bedrooms and en-suites, all pristinely clean.The views from the villa were breathtaking. It was truly incredible to wake up to every day.A short drive to the very pretty town and then a short walk from the car park next to the sea led to stunning beaches with excellent snorkling! Lots of choice for food in the town and beyond, all with gorgeous sea views.The children all had a fabulous time, as did the adults! We were sad to leave- it really was the perfect choice for our holiday with friends and family.Thank you so much Manuela! Truly a holiday we will treasure the memories of forever. "

"The BEST SERVICE & THE CLEANEST hotel we have stayed in for many years!! The room was fantastic - very large. Very comfortable - very well equipped. Air con was fantastic, fridge for cool drinks. Great showeroom! Pool with an amazing view. The guys who run this place were easily the most professional, hospitable and considerate we’ve ever met anywhere in the world. The food was fabulous.
