"My friend and I had a very enjoyable stay. The Chateau is well situated for visiting the area. Arudy, the village just south is charming and has restaurants, gas stations and supermarkets. It is easy to get to great hikes and attractions. Elizabeth is quite helpful in suggesting places to go. The Chateau itself is beautiful. "Very clean, comfy bed, friendly service and a beautiful setting. The hotel is in an old wood and stone building, in the middle of the corn fields, with a view of the Pyrenees mountains. A very nice stay for a romantic getaway. The breakfast was good, continental. The only thing I would suggest is to put the coffee in smaller cups as it gets cold quickly, but that is the only thing I would change about my stay, it was beautiful! Merci! "

"We stayed for 5 nights and could only praise everything about our stay. The excellent spacious car parking was such a bonus when exploring this lovely city on foot. Most of all it was the staff who made our stay so pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble (booking taxis etc.) The housekeeping girls did such an excellent job...faultless. The breakfast buffet was second to none. One suggestion-load your Kindle before arrival as the hotel hotspot does not support a connection."

"I slept so well every night, it was really quiet. Loved having a kitchenette to sort my own meals. This was a good thing because there is only one restaurant nearby. I think mainly this hotel is for car owners who can travel around easily. There are bus stops 5 minutes walk away, but the buses are not very frequent. However, as I was attending an event at the Palais des Sports, the location was really convenient. But it's a long way out of town."
