"Our studio unit was just what we wanted; a short stroll to the restaurants and supermarkets.The unit we had was a 'Lockwood style', so lots of timber. We wanted a base for 3 days to visit relatives. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well; we didn't cook meals but could have as the kitchen seemed well equipped. Everything in the unit was for 2 people, so 2 wine glasses etc. The exterior of the property is a bit unkempt; this could have been due to the wild weather we experienced but I still think a bit of a grounds tidy-up would not go amiss. Access was via a lock-box, so no reception. Our email indicated that the on-site cleaners did not speak English; however we found them very good and helpful.. We were able to communicate through a phone based language translation app, and it worked well. Would we stay there again, yes. It was great value for money."

"Very spacious and stylish house and it is much better than the photos. The deck area looks out onto a beautiful garden area. The owner was very kind & helpful. I had made a booking mistake which he kindly managed for us, and he also helped my husband fix his flat bike tire. We slept well in the comfy beds with good bedding & a nice selection of pillows. Its a lovely peaceful area and close to the very good cycle paths."
