"I booked a queen room through Hotels.com, but unfortunately, the room I was given looked nothing like the photos online. It was in a different, older part of the hotel and felt very outdated, which was quite disappointing. I asked if I could be moved to one of the newer rooms, but I was told that the only option was to upgrade to a newer king room for an additional $60. At that point, I was tired and decided to take the upgrade. I’m glad I did, because the king room was much nicer. The mattress was very comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet and well soundproofed the room was. My advice when booking: make sure to ask for a room in the newer part of the hotel, as the difference between the two areas seems significant. The location is excellent, though, with lots of great restaurants right nearby, which was a definite plus. Overall, my first impression was disappointing, but the upgraded room made the stay much better."

"J'ai adoré mon séjour. Le personnel est très serviable et gentil. Les décors sont super et les chambres sont très propres. La seul très petite critique est que la thermopompe poussait l'air climatiser sur lit. On a du l'éteindre, s'était trop froid. Mais l'installation de la thermopompe n'est peut-être pas configurer de la même façon dans toutes les chambres. Nous avons choisi une chambre avec 1 lit. Très belle expérience!! Si je repasse à Nicolet il est sûre que je retourne à l'hôtel MontFort."

"Hotel was under construction for updating. We didn’t know before booking. It really didn’t affect us at all. They gave us a complimentary full breakfast in their restaurant as compensation and it was excellent? The underground parking was totally redone and was much appreciated on a rainy day."
