This hotel is very convenient for a night on the road. It is very tired though and needs some money spending on it. It was very clean. The staff were lovely especially Contin ( I hope I gave spelt his name correctly) on reception. We were in a room with noisy neighbours and he did not hesitate to offer us another room. Had a good nights sleep.

Friendly, helpful, clean

Second stay here where the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast (additional charge) is filling and one can get beer (limited choice). It's well placed and easy to find. We will be staying again.

I found the staff very helpful and very polite and friendly, especially the Manageress and staff front of house. I would also like to mention that Maria Alexandra was very kind and nothing was too much for her to do anything to make our stay comfortable. The choice of breakfast was amazing such a wide range of tastes for everyone.

The staff at the property were nice and friendly, which made check-in a pleasant experience. However, the room itself was a major letdown. The bed was full of hair, which was extremely off-putting and suggested the sheets hadn’t been properly changed. The bathroom wasn’t much better: there was visible mould around the shower, making it feel unhygienic and neglected. Overall, despite the warm welcome from the staff, the lack of basic cleanliness and hygiene made for a very uncomfortable stay. It was so bad, we decided not to stay.

Right, firstly I used this as a stop off heading to Spain from the UK. I was a solo traveller with a dog. I arrived ams tje receptionist was brilliant. My GCSE French failed me and she spoke perfect English with a smile. The dog was welcomed with open arms. The view is nothing to write home about but the bed is comfy and the staff are really lovely. For fifty euros you can’t argue.

Not overly welcoming.

I emailed twice to ask about security in the parking area and was ignored. Also was hoping to eat in the restaurant but it was closed on weekends so had to trek out in the rain. As it was, the fully packed car was right outside our ground floor window so was fine. Check in girl was cheerful and helpful Checked out with a rather bored looking young man.

The number on the night entry door is for someone in Paris. I was not given the code which opens the door and spent 40 minutes trying to get in. Eventually I was given a number to call when the man I was speaking to realised I was in Poitiers. I must add that the shower was broken. It worked but there was nowhere to hang it up.
