"Upon arrival, I was a little suspect. No one is there to check you in (we were told this ahead of time). Once we read all the posted signs, and figured out where to drive/park, we made it to our room. What a lovely surprise. The room was lovely, welcoming, and comfortable without a lot of extras. The place was clean and the beds comfortable. In our paperwork, the WI-FI password was provided, but in our room (#5), there was no Wi-Fi to connect so that was a bit disappointing - manageable but disappointing. Had a great night sleep and started the day with a fantastic home-cooked breakfast. Kathleen was so engaging and personable and made us feel like family. I would definitely stay there again if I were in the area. One word of caution - website information is different than reality and there are no dining options within 15-20 miles of the lodge if the lodge dining room is closed - which it is open only 3 nights a week. So, plan ahead. Our dinner consisted of snacks from our travels because we were not aware of that so didn't plan ahead! But overall - what a great place! Thanks Kathleen!"

"We had a wonderful week with our family of eleven people- including a two month old baby. There was something for everyone to enjoy- toys, games, water sports, cooking and just enjoying the gorgeous view. The property is beautiful and well maintained, and our host, Clay, was very helpful and communicative. We made amazing memories!"
