The apartment is located in Vatopedi, a small village of about 200 inhabitants built on a hill on the east bank of the river Havria, in a place with olive groves and vineyards.

The nearest beach is only 5 minutes by car.

It is worth noting that it is surrounded by monasteries which are located at an extremely short distance.

Outside of Vatopedi is a women's monastery, dedicated to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, which is the largest in Greece with weaving and iconography workshops. Its metochi dates back to the 12th century (10 minutes' walk).

To the south of the village on a hill is the male monastery of Agios Arsenios of Cappadocia, founded in 1986 (5 minutes by car).

Just 50 minutes away by car from Thessaloniki and Mount Athos, it is a smart choice due to the location of the village, since it offers the visitor tranquility and authenticity due to the minimal tourism and the small population of local residents, while at the same time with direct access on the main road N. Moudanion-Sithonia one can find in a short time in cosmopolitan places, famous beaches of either the first or the second leg since it is located between the two peninsulas of Kassandra-Sithonia.
