“Our experience was fantastic, plenty of space in the room and the view was incredible. Cannot beat the price for what you get. 15 mins from Funchal and 10 to the airport made everything super convenient, Santa Cruz was charming and being a little bit out of the city for a little less chaos was nice. Staff was excellent and very quick to communicate. Only negative I would say was the directions provided for key pickup took us to a location a bit down the hill from the office but we were able to……

“Nice property but it’s definitely seen better days. On the plus side, the apartment is spacious, has covered parking and has newer, well-functioning appliances. On the downside, the back porch floor was covered in water as there was an old seal in the window. The bathroom door/lock combo was hanging on by a single loose screw. One of the sliding doors wouldn’t lock properly so maintenance had to come and fix it. The hallways of the building are crumbling a bit and detract from the overall……

“Kitchen was fairly well equipped for prepping breakfasts. It had pots and pans should you decide to prepare a meal.”

“Appartement is keurig met een mooi uitzicht. Met auto goed te bereiken maar lopend een flinke inspanning. Rustige omgeving met weinig verkeer. We gaan er zo weer heen maar dan wel met een auto want lopend pfffff.”

“Eine wirklich schöne Ferienwohnung mit traumhafter Aussicht. Das Einzige was etwas nervig war, waren die britischen Eigentümer rechts neben der Ferienwohnung , die nachts sehr laut auf ihrem Balkon waren. Aber die sind sicher nicht immer vor Ort.Die ersten beiden Tage war es sehr ruhig. Wir werden die Ferienwohnung wieder buchen.”

“Excellent location in old Funchal. Very close to Harbor front and to museums, shops, services. Although there are no staff on site, check in was smooth, and we felt secure with the locked doors we had to go through to keep residents safe. For the most part, we had timely responses to queries to staff if we had questions hotel/room/airport transportation as needed. ”

“Man hört die Flugzeuge sehr. Uns hat es aber nicht gestört. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft sehr groß, es gibt alles, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation und die Sauberkeit sind auf sehr hohem Niveau. ”

“Looks exactly as photographed. Very spacious, clean with everything you need. Beds were comfortable and coffee was a nice touch. Loved the balcony and the ocean view. Local cafe/bar was in walking distance with authentic food. Walk to the ocean promenade was great but be prepared to walk back up the steep hill ”
