Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
CHECK-OUT: -Check-out time is by 11:00 am -Report any damage to the Manager -Remove sheets from each bed used and leave them on the floor by the bed -Start a load of towels.
-Take all personal items with you. -Turn on the dishwasher before you leave (OK if you start as you leave) -Turn the thermostat up to 75 in Summer and 65 in Winter

Shore Beats Work did not disappoint. Fantastic location right on the beach and a very nice house. Only issue was the mosquitos, but there was even a warning to come prepared with bug spray in the check in instructions! My family had a fantastic time this was just the break we needed. Thank you David!

Every thing was as advertised. Views were wonderful and the beach is a few steps away. House was awesome. Air conditioning worked really well and we always had plenty of hot water. I’ll stay there again in the near future

Fantastic Vacation

The house is beautiful, well maintained and right on the beach. Breathtaking views of the Gulf of America. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation home. Looking forward to staying at this property in the future.

Beautiful well-kept property

Great Stay!

This was our second year staying at this property. The views are amazing and the house is clean and well maintained. We highly recommend this property. David, our host, was on top of communication with us. This year brought a lot of questions due to Francine making its way through the Gulf. We appreciate all of the help and advice he provided. We can not wait to book our next trip.

Ole' Girls Yearly Trip

We are a group of ladies that have been vacationing on the beach since we were 50 years old. We're currently 70/71. Some of us even started first grade together. We love just hanging out on the porch or the beach. Shore Beats Work has a great porch and beautiful view of the beach! We love the house of course but the porch can't be beat!

Wonderful ocean view

We all enjoyed watching the waves as we had coffee or a beverage later in the day! House is comfortable, kitchen had all we needed. Beds comfortable although master bed was a bit soft. We visited the fort, the jetty, took the ferry to Galveston to take the self guided sculpture tour, amazing, took a dolphin tour, dined at the Spot. Back on Bolivar we had dinner at Stingaree, that was delicious and a fun place. Danny's donuts were a hit too. The house was a great place to be close to the beach and some awesome shelling and beach walks. Loved our stay!

Beautiful home, great location, definately recommend !

With one exception we had a great stay at a great house. The house has that perfect front row location & view. There are 8 comfortable deck chairs & a table so you can be outside all day if you want. The house is beautiful, spacious, open, & super clean. Everything you might need was there. We let our elderly relatives have the master bedroom due to the walk in shower & we took a guest room. Access to the guest bathroom was just across the hall & guest bath was really spacious with plenty of counter space. My only complaint, or disappointment, was the lack of beach access. Our 85 yr old cousin was with us & I specifically chose this house due to the listing pictures showing direct beach access right next to the house. Upon arrival I saw that the road has now been fenced off & Galv. Co is building a dune. The owner told me that he closed the access due to trespassers using the property to park & blocking his driveway, etc. I booked this house on this trip specifically due to the open access shown in the pictures, AND I booked a golf cart rental so that we could take our cousin out on the beach on a golf cart. He has severe mobility issues & can not walk well. There is a narrow, deep sand walking pass thru next door but it was not something that E could navigate & I felt guilty that he was unable to enjoy the beach. The rest of us were able to walk the beach every day but I feel that the pics should be updated or a note made that there is no longer SXS or golf cart access

Wonderful Time

We had a great time being right on the beach. House was clean and spacious so we weren’t cramped in. Took the ferry to Galveston and a little shopping. Everyone enjoyed the ferry ride. David was on top of things when we had an issue in the kitchen. Really enjoyed staying at Shore Beats Work.

This beach house is awesome! It is right on the beach and easy beach access. It is very clean and provides everything you need. The deck is great to sit out and over look the ocean. We will definitely come back here!

All in 4 nights and 1/2 day stay!

Great vacation and loved being at beachside nearest to gulf. Semi-Privateness of beach was a plus also. Kids enjoyed beach boards and shell searching. Also ferry to Galveston and attractions there as well as restaurants there in Port Bolivar/Crystal Beach. Groceries handy at the Big Store and Dollar General. Loved seeing Pelicans and Seagulls fly over on the front deck and TVs in evening at bedtime. Kids loved feeding the birds bread and donuts! Comfortable rental and would like to return some day! Also 2 of our party did a fishing tour in gulf and we went on Dolphin Boat Tour with the children in Galveston - great for all!

The property itself was clean and you had most everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. It also passed the clorox wipe test as I always wipe everything down when we check in anywhere and so that was impressive. BUT the sheets.....they smelled clean but they were stained and that is an ick for me. I had a Super 8 flashback from when I was a kid but this is not super 8 pricing so the sheets need an upgrade but otherwise good.

Just the best place to stay in Bolivar!

We have stayed in Bolivar 3 times now. This is by far our best experience and accommodations. The communication with David was immediate and helpful. Even when our daughter forgot some items in a closet, David was on it right away.We like to leave properties as we find them if not better. We picked up blown in trash from the dunes without stepping in the dunes.We created a path to the beach to help us navigate us (and the neighbors) the best route to the beach, protecting the dunes. The house is well equipped. Everything you could possibly need. Beds are comfortable. The house was spotless.Most of our stay we have the beach, moonrises and sunsets to ourselves.We will make this place our new annual place to stay. Thank you David for making our stay perfect.
