「Very neat place to stay! 」

「We booked for 2 nights to celebrate birthdays and mother’s day. Little did we know it would be the nicest weekend weather so far and the northern lights would be out so intensely!! The owners were kind. The communication was spot on and the property was amazing! 「My week vacation at Bay Cottage was wonderful and relaxing. Ed was a great host, giving me so much helpful information about the room, property and Port Townsend. I was welcomed with fresh cut flowers and a plate of fresh berries with homemade chocolate chip walnut cookies. Enjoyed the cottage’s nice private deck to sit on as well as the community patio overlooking the beach and water. Many, many thanks!」

Two of the units (Lodge and Meadow) have a view of the water and very nice decks. The property has a nice hot tub and fire pit. Unfortunately, we were in the Forest unit. The accommodations were a bit more rundown than expected (new mattresses would help), but overall it was cozy and had the added benefit, for us, of being within walking distance of family.」

「With all my boys hitting 18 or older, it’s been harder to find something exciting and new to do for all their birthdays that fall within two weeks of each other. We have always loved visiting Sequim and the animal game farm. I was happily surprised to learn of this festive and unique castle that was full of all the fun amenities like costumes, decor, medieval type dishes, furniture, etc. It was really fun. My only regret is not staying longer.」

「Title of the property is a little misleading. It's not a cabin with a hot tub, it's a loft above the garage with a hot tub. Plenty of room and very quite. Not too far from dining. We would recommend this place but just be aware you are not getting an entire cabin to yourself.」
