First of all, the communication from Vacasa was great and the team was very responsive. At first, we weren't sure about the location, but it turned out to be perfect right between Sequim and Port Townsend on a quiet and beautiful bay. The home was absolutely lovely, well stocked, and perfect for our stay. The porch was amazing as well. Will stay here again.

Fun place for a weekend getaway with friends

Very pretty location and comfortable home. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and slept well in nicely appointed bedrooms. Bathrooms were stocked with necessities which was a nice touch. Overall a great place to stay!

Cozy, in the best way

A beautiful and comfortable home with amazing views. The floorplan and furnishings are perfect for places for family and friends to be together as well as spread out for privacy.

Port Townsend Thanksgiving

Great view on the water and saw lots of wildlife: seals, eagles, starfish. Roomy, plenty of seating, kitchen is very well stocked. Stairs were very sturdy. Beautiful craftsman home. Great value .

Peaceful family gathering

The house is great. Rocky beach is fun to visit. Stairs are a workout. Our family celebrated our daughter’s graduation from UW. Sequim is a nice area to explore.

Port Townsend Perfection

This house was great for our family thanksgiving getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for a full thanksgiving meal. The layout of the house is incredible! And the view with the beach is amazing. The only downside was cobwebs, dust and a spider or two in the kitchen and living room area. But otherwise it was awesome. We definitely would book it again! Thank you!

Comfortable cozy home

We had a sister trip, all seniors. We found the home clean, well stocked for cooking meals with the exception of measuring cups. Loved the view. The steps to the beach were no problem for some but too many for others. The bedrooms were great, comfortable beds and a closet with plenty of hangers. Great to have 3 bathrooms and two had walk in showers!

Long weekend in December

The house and setting are beautiful. Everything was as described. The wi-fi, kitchen light and lights next to the door weren't working when we arrived (which was early evening), but the management responded quickly and sent a crew the next morning. Everything worked perfectly. Loved the fireplace - it was especially welcome on the chilly mornings. We would stay here again.

Our family of six stayed here for a wedding that was held at Misty Clover Farm. The location was perfect, only 5 minutes or so from the venue. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Port Townsend, which is a lovely seaside village with many shops and restaurants, as well as a supermarket. The house was immaculately clean and well provisioned with what we needed. The online photos are very accurate. The spacious front porch is an amazing place to enjoy the setting overlooking Discovery Bay. I would highly recommend if you are coming to this area.

Lovely home by the ocean

The home is lovely. Wood details on the staircase caught my eye right away. The kitchen has plenty of items needed to cook and dine in. There is a full size refrigerator. The master bedroom is large with a walk in closet and a nice size bathroom. There is a large porch with a filtered view of the ocean and comfy chairs with pillows. Beach access is challenging for anyone with physical issues. Be sure to follow the specific instructions to get to the home.

Awesome Time!!

This house was a perfect stay. Close in proximity to the many places in Washington. Mountain Biking in Port Gamble is 25 mins away, Seattle a quick ferry ride, Poulsbo an hour away, and the downtown of Port Townsend is 20 mins from the house. This house was furnished greatly with what seemed to be a brand new SmartTV. Wi-Fi worked great all week and cozying up by the fire place was a highlight of the nights we stayed. The stairs lead down to the private beach right on the bay, providing views and swimming that cannot be beat. The beds in the rooms are comfy, and the pillows are amazing. The kitchen is a full kitchen with a full sized fridge, which holds plenty of beer and seafood. Absolutely loved this place and will definitely be coming back soon!

Fun, quiet stay!

This was a cute little house on the bay. It was quiet with many birds, trees, and greenery. There were several things that needed repaired in the home- the fireplace doors were broken, the oven door did not close, and the back door had to be forcefully closed in order to lock. We gave the home a good cleaning when we arrived- dog poop in the front yard area, kitchen floor hadn’t been mopped in awhile, sheets had hair in them (multiple beds), rug in living room had pet stains on it. After doing this, it was a great stay. To get to the home, you have to go down a very narrow driveway past other homes. The neighbor next door was out several times. He had to move in order for us to get by. If you have to come and go alot, neighbor may get irritated!

Beautiful property

Beautiful setting. I would stay there again. Steep stairs to walk down to beach; no real beach access except within the boundaries of the property. Surrounded by a lovely woods; nice neighbors. Cleaning people did not do a good job in preparation; utensils were still greasy; dust bunny piles under the beds. Despite all this, everything was quite usable and we left the dishes and utensils cleaner than we found them! Cooking spices in the cabinet; wahoo! Bathrooms were clean; fixtures dated as were the cooking utensils; extensive dishes that came in handy for cooking and eating. Grill was unusable because two propane tanks were empty. I leave these criticisms to help the owners/managers, but would highly recommend the property. My buddies were very appreciative too.

Vacasa Rental Disappoints

The best part of this property is the view from the porch. We were dismayed as to how poorly this property was maintained. 1. There was a partially consumed water bottle left by the housekeeping team on the porch. 2. The cottage was stuffy and had an odd smell when we entered. 3. There were smelly towels that were left in the hamper upstairs in the master bedroom. 4. A pillowcase with brown stains, sheets and towels left in the dryer. 4. Dining room so sticky that our elbows stuck to it. Not what we were expecting…all the dishes and flatware had to be washed on our first day.

Cozy with a beautiful view, just needs a little TLC

We absolutely loved the house and views. The fireplace was amazing, especially during such a cold snap. Beds were comfortable and the house had most everything we needed to be comfortable. We enjoyed day trips to both Port Townsend and Sequim, each about 20min away. The house appeared very clean where it mattered most, but we started noticing dust, dirt underneath beds, furniture, in drawers. And whenever we got up from the couch, we had dog hair on our clothes (we don’t have a dog.) The kitchen was decently stocked, but the Frankenstein coffee maker needs to be replaced! We almost bought one at Goodwill but decided to make do. We also wished the kitchen had some sort of spray cleaner so we could wipe off counters more easily. It also lacked a kitchen towel. Overall, a lovely stay. The house is gorgeous, and our 4-year old had a blast playing all over the house and going down to the beach. But a little more attention to the details above would make a big difference.
