“This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.”

“Cadillac Kustomz is a unique hotel with quirky design and loads of character. The rooms are individually styled, with all the necessary facilities, and are spotlessly clean. “We had an early ferry to Islay the next morning, and the staff were so thoughtful to prepare our breakfast ahead of time and leave it at the front desk. Great service and nice, comfortable room. “The staff at the royal Marine would not do any more for you, the room was upgraded to a sea view and that was amazing, we sat and had two beautiful dinners, the dining room is redecorated wonderfully and they even did a santas grotto. It’s like fine dining for incredibly prices, I really wish more people start to visit so they can keep bringing this old hotel back to full glory, they deserve it. Would we stay again absolutely!! ”
