「Positives: location is 1min from metro, 15 mins easy walk from centre, in a local non-touristy neighbourhood. Bed linen and towels clean. Beds comfortable. Negatives: poor communication from host on several issues outlined below. Mould on bedroom curtains. Apartment stunk of damp. Problems: - it took 20 mins to check in because of a fault with the door code. For half of this time the host didnt communicate what they were doing to resolve the problem so we had no idea how long it would take....

We paid in full 8 months prior, but months later the company emailed claiming they hadn't received payment and we might lose our booking. VRBO couldn't help with the third-party transaction, and the company ignored our VRBO messages.
