I spent two days at Elephant Rock Hotel and I cannot say enough great things about it! From the minute I arrived the staff were amazing and so welcoming. Joanne, the manager that I met on arrival, then Charlotte the following day were both so lovely. I was there on a personal solo trip and they made it so I had zero to think about other than being present on my trip. I am so grateful. The location is perfect with a gorgeous view and steps from the main part of town. The food was fantastic! A wonderful breakfast to fill you up before you get on your adventures for the day. Those homemade shortbreads in the rooms were out of this world good! Also the decor was beautiful and the place was spotless. I've already told them I'll be back next year. I highly recommend Elephant Rock Hotel! Thank you for making it such a wonderful and unforgettable stay. Jules

Really enjoyed my stay. I had a single room but still had a double bed, which was very comfortable. The room was clean and well furnished and the en-suite was also great. Breakfast was excellent and the view from the bay windows is stunning. The service and friendliness from staff was perfect. Would certainly recommend.

The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Loved the fact that the hotel had recently been refurbished from an old grand townhouse in a terrace which looked over the Skerries and sea - close to town and beach.

Staff and room amenities were good but the disappointment was the hotel has such a lovely view on 2 warm July sunny nights but my room view was ruined by the position of the room at the rear _ my view was concrete walls _definitely a room with NO VIEW _ spoiled my experience!! An expensive 2 nights...I wonder was it because I booked thru the Internet??:( and not directly?? My solo traveller experience was similar to others:( Belfast

Staff & presentation very good

Customer service & presentation of hotel were very good. Experience was ruined by several "boy racers" & their mates making deafening noises as they raced cars, skidded & did wheelspins until after 2am. They were also setting off car alarms in front of the hotel. I would not return as this is a common occurrence in front of the hotel.

Hidden Gem

The Elephant Rock Hotel is a hidden gem in Portrush on the coast of Northern Ireland (Giants Causeway) ….. it is located on a strip of row houses that honestly is a undeveloped goldmine. It is just beautiful!!! I stayed alone the town is adorable ( I stayed in August) but it was booming with activity… clearly a summer hot spot. The Elephant Rock is clean, affordable, really cute, has beautiful decor, wonderful staff and a very popular restaurant overlooking the ocean. Highly recommend!
