Lovely hotel with a stunning view. Breakfast & evening meal was really lovely and I spent some pleasant hours at the small pool. The staff/service really make this hotel one of the nicest in the area. Would recommend and would stay again.

Hotel check in was quick and I was able to enter my room before the alloted time which was great after an early morning flight. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, the staff treated you like royalty as well. I experienced minor issues with my room but it was addressed immediately. I arrived as a stranger but left as though they were my family. The owner, Lise was very friendly and engaged with guests everyday. They also recommended various spots to visit as well payments were very convenient as they arranged tours around the island. I met some wonderful people at the hotel, the best part is the hotel has 7 rooms which means you get personalized attention. Tamara makes the best breakfast and Omar is the best tour guide, I would definitely be back and I give 5/5 stars! Did I mention the view is amazing!

Perfect place to go to Portsmouth. The staff and owners are so incredibly accommodating and nice. They really made our stay the best! It also had a personal touch without feeling forced. I’m also delighted to see a place honour the VIP Access benefits for Gold Members. The upgrade was incredible, and the wine selection came with options. Very authentic Dominican experience. Small boutique hotel with friendly staff. Would have loved to see fresh colorful paint to have the exterior and interior match the wonderful, clean and friendly environment we've experienced. Would definitely come back again

Pleasant stay

Good and pleasant small hotel. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, nice swimming pool, reasonably good restaurant, great sunset view from the little terrace in front of my room. My WiFi worked perfectly, as did the AC and fridge. Did not try the tv. Shower and towels may need an upgrade in some years.

Overall, the hotel was lovely. Incredible view. Friendly staff. The food was amazing. Rooms were clean. Pool area was very nice. However, this place had many children - families from Europe. Most used the pool during the day and were extremely loud. And then during the evening dining experience, since it wasn't a large place, the children were loud during dinner. The loudness became a theme of the stay. For a solo traveler, this was a bit annoying. If you aren't going to be around during the day and have your own transportation, this place is great. I did walk down to a local restaurant and to the beach - it was super quiet. The walk back up the hill is steep but not that bad.
