Adorable decor except the room choice undesirable. Big industrial fan noise right outside our window which kept us awake all night & bathroom fan nonfunctional. The restaurant was quaint and the food very good. Worth the price with continental breakfast a plus. Staff very pleasant

For a older inn it was kept well. The biggest complaint I have is the bed was hard as a rock and the one pillow I had was flat as a pancake and they didn’t have any extra.

The Inn was a beautiful old fashioned property with 2 buildings of rooms and an old carriage house turned into a nightclub, very nice and quaint.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Governor’s Inn because it was a beautiful setting with lots of charm and character. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Also the Garage had super music that we enjoyed. I would happily stay there again.

I like the old nostalgic Holmes and feeling it provides when I stay in New Hampshire. It was like a mini balsams back in the day, but I didn’t feel too uncomfortable with formalities. It had a local crowd which was enjoyed in the garage and a band and dancing I found the price to be fair and equitable. I will stay again if I can book in advance like I did this time thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was a huge disappointment. We stayed next to the main building. Guest room was old, dirty, dingy with large stains on the faded pink wall to wall carpet. All furniture was a mix of old Ikea furniture and the rest a mix of poor furniture from the 70s and 80s. Not charming, just dingy, very dirty and in a poor condition. The couch was stained and scratched up. We will never come back.
