Presa Daint is an idyllically secluded mountain pasture in Valposchiavo, consisting of two separate houses: a wooden house and a stone house. The accommodations are ideal for guests seeking peace, nature, and an authentic mountain experience—with plenty of privacy, a simple alpine atmosphere, and a sustainable energy supply (solar). • Two houses for a special vacation: The wooden house serves as the sleeping area, while the stone house serves as the living, cooking, and lounge area. This creates an authentic, nature-oriented Maiensäss experience. • Sleeping: The wooden house features a bedroom with a double bed (180 × 200 cm) and its own wood-burning stove, as well as another room with a sofa bed (110 × 200 cm). • Living & Cooking: The stone house features a cozy living and dining area with a table for 4 people, a sofa, a built-in kitchen, a gas stove, a wood-burning stove, an oven, a refrigerator (230 l) with a freezer compartment (114 l), and a fireplace. • Bathroom: The stone house has a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. The log cabin also has a separate toilet with a sink. • Heating and Hot Water: Both houses are heated exclusively with wood. Firewood is provided but must be prepared by the guests themselves. Hot water is supplied by an electric water heater and a wood-fired water heater (70 l each). • Outdoor area: Seating area with a grill, a table for 2 people, lounge chairs, and a parasol—ideal for quiet and relaxing moments in nature. • Sustainability: The Maiensäss is not connected to the public power grid and is powered by a 6 kWp solar system with a battery capacity of 15 kWh. A backup generator is available if needed. • Electric car: Type 2 charging station with cable available; billing based on usage at CHF 0.65/kWh.
